Michael - our holiday was outstanding... the whole family loved your home,and location, the services, Jack and Kelly, Chef Thomas, the Masseuses, theweather, the beach, the pool (particularly the pool) - the whole experience.No one wanted to leave - to a person the whole family expressed that it wasthe best holiday they have ever had... our twin boys (ages 3) announced whenthey return to Toronto that they want to move to Mexico!!Thanks for an excellent experience... I'd recommend it to anyone.... we willlook at re-booking for another year - likely 2010, but we haven't ruled out 2009 yet...Many thanks....Hope that your wife's pregancy goes very well..Best wishes...

A letter to my caretaker Jack
Greetings Jack - we're in the deep freeze in Toronto - and back to another reality.. Our twin grandsons announced they are moving to Mexico, after they had been in Toronto for one day....I suggested to Hussain and Kristen that when they buy a place, it has to have room for Cindy and me.... The whole family enjoyed our time at Playa Paraiso tremendously - we will talk about it for many years to come... Thanks to you and Kelly for making us feel so welcomed and for helping out in so many ways....it was very much appreciated... We will very likely return - probably not for next Christmas season, but in the next couple of years ... plans will emerge... In the meantime...enjoy your version of winter in the confidence that it beats the Great White North by a substantial margin.... Thanks again..... Bob Williams |

There is no way a time spent in Mexico could have been more perfect. I'm sure that anyone from one of the big resorts would have given anything to be where we were. Casa Del Sol is a very special place and the ten days we spent there with our family was very special. In fact, it is so perfect that the Apple computer store asked me if they could use the pictures we have as the demonstration screens for their store. Your location made out 50th anniversary celebration both unique and special. Jack and Kelly are special people too. They were incredibly helpful and pleasant. There is no way on this earth that there is a better location for a wonderful vacation for a family. We were from 4 years old to 72 years old and every minute was filled with fun for each of us. Casa Del Sol is so perfect that none of the 14 of us ever spoke a cross word to anyone else.

Just a quick note to say thanks for making our trip to Playa so memorable for my family.
Your home is beautiful and everything you described. Before renting a house we looked into the all inclusives at nearby hotels and decided having our family (11 of us) spread into three hotel rooms for a week was too impersonal and too expensive.
We rented from you, and that was a great decision. When we arrived we found out that we could pay for a day of all inclusives at the nearby hotels. ( $50 per adult and $25 for each child) That provided the added variety we needed for the young children and teenagers. We spent a few days at your beach (which really is a lot nicer than the beach at the big hotels). Then we spent a few days at the hotels and paid for the all inclusive. We walked over to the hotel for breakfast, enjoyed their pools and activities all day and then had our large meal for the day in late afternoon. When we returned to the comfort and privacy of the house around five we were ready to relax in your pool .
We even had a local priest come to the house so we could redo our marriage vows and we hired the chef you recommended to cook for us that night. That was special.
And for those concerned about driving in Mexico.( like me) …..we hired a van to take us from the airport to the house and bring us back to the airport and asked the security guard at your residence to call taxis when we went to town to shop. That decision alone saved us enough to pay for the all inclusive rates at the hotels..

I wanted to thank you for renting your house to us, along with two other couples. It was our first time to this region of Mexico, and we truly enjoyed our trip as well as your house. Even though you created a web site to view your home, we were still a little skeptical of what we might encounter upon arrival. When we arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised at the accommodations and the amenities. From the layout of the home, to the pool, to the private palapa on the beach, it was truly enjoyable.
We found the house to very accessible from the main highway and well situated to visit areas such as Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. We spent most of our time in these two areas, and enjoyed what they had to offer. In addition, we wanted to say the Carlos was a great help in setting up activities for us. He was a great resource to have down there, as well as being a great guy.
We would go back again anytime, but I wanted to take the time and thank you for allowing us to utilize your home in Playa Paraiso. It was a great trip. Thanks. |

My family and I recently took our first trip to Mexico and stayed in Casa Del Sol. Not only were we enthralled with the Mayan Rivera but your home was breathtaking.
We enjoyed poolside massages, swimming in the beautiful pool, admiring the ocean from our private palapa and enjoying the cool September evenings sitting beside the pool. The home had everything to make our stay memorable.
We hope to make Mexico a yearly trip and will definitely contact you in the future for accommodations. Thank you for providing such a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere for vacationers to enjoy. |

My stay in Casa Del Sol lasted ten days. We had a group of ten people. The house was very clean and everything worked properly as advertised. The caretaker was always available to help. The beach is superb and it is next to two beautiful resorts. The Iberostar we spend a whole day all-inclusive for $50.00 a person, a very good deal. The location of Casa Del Sol is perfect to discover the beauty of Riviera Maya. The places we visited were: Chichen-Itza, Xcaret, Playa Drel Carmen, Pueto Aventuras, Cancun, Tulum, etc. An incredible trip with many things to do. I plan to come back and visit other things that we missed. I do not have any negatives. |

We are writing this letter to let you know how pleased we were with your rental home, Casa del Sol, in Playa Paraiso.
The home was immaculately kept and very spacious. The housekeeper came in twice during our stay and did a very thorough job. Towels were washed, beds were changed, and the house was spotless when she left. She was also very pleasant to talk with.
Kelly, the property manager, was the best part of the deal! She made herself available whenever we needed her and was more than willing to show us around the house and help us with directions, suggestions and guidance in making our trip successful.
Regarding the home itself, we were all very pleased with the décor and the openness of the floor plan. We spent many hours under the palapas and in the top balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Throughout the house was beautiful tile and light colored woodwork that made you feel very welcome and totally comfortable. We had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the elegance of the master suite was breathtaking. The master suite has its own balcony overlooking the pool area and Caribbean Sea. The other master suite also had its own balcony as well with the same view. All rooms were air conditioned so the humidity of August did not bother us.
The pool was clean, clear and very refreshing after a hot, humid day at the ruins. My grandson (age 10) spent most of our vacation in the pool, playing with the pool toys and laying on the floating devices. The grounds were well manicured and professionally landscaped. It was the best looking home in the neighborhood, in our opinion.
When we wanted a change in scenery, we would take the quick walk to get to the beach. Our property was the only one with a private beach front palapa and beach toys. We felt very special and enjoyed using the boogie boards to catch the big waves. My grandson and I tried to get the kite to work but the wind was too strong. Having the beach toys was very fun! My sister and I read books one afternoon under the palapa, on the beach, overlooking the Caribbean Sea in the hammocks. Talk about paradise on earth!
Thank you for the free phone service that helped us keep in touch with the people we left behind. That was very nice. Not much was on cable T.V. but who wants to watch T.V. anyway when you’ve got so many other things to do.
All in all, I would rate our experience with you and your rental an A . It was very pleasant working with you on the arrangements and everything you promised came true.
